Three days to go before the 19th Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève announces its roster of prize-winners
The 2019 Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix (GPHG) prize-giving ceremony will see representatives of the international watchmaking profession gather in Geneva’s Théâtre du Léman on Thursday November 7th 2019. As master of ceremonies, actor Edouard Baer will set the tone for this evening dedicated to the excellence of contemporary watchmaking creations.
As was already the case last year, the password-free and already active GPHG Mediacenter gives the press and brands access to images, interviews, press releases and other information in almost real time. (https://mediacenter.gphg.org/).
A major media showcase uniting the industry, the prize-giving ceremony – available in simultaneous translation – will be broadcast live on the GPHG's official website, as well as on those of many specialised media around the world (Alfavit Watch, Hodinkee, Monochrome, Quill and Pad, Tiempo de Relojes, Timezone, Watchonista, Watch Time et Worldtempus).
Euronews, Europe's leading news network, will broadcast a film that same evening presenting the highlights of the ceremony via its various channels in several languages.
Hantang Culture, an exclusive Chinese media group dedicated to the art of living and the promotion of cultural exchanges between China and the West, has been inviting visitors to discover the GPHG since October and will cover the November 7th event live on its many channels.
The local television channel Léman Bleu will also broadcast the awards ceremony at 7:30 pm on Saturday November 9th..
